Glasshouse Gardens, London E20

Glasshouse Gardens is a contemporary twin tower residential development by Lendlease completed in 2017 in Stratford, London E20. It is praised for its bright and elegant apartments set within architecturally distinctive buildings as well as for its location close to the 2012 Olympic landmarks and the outstanding amenities and transport links at Stratford.

The two towers that make Glasshouse Gardens are Cassia Point (West tower 30 floors) and Lantana Heights (East tower 17 floors). The building, design by Allies and Morrison Architects, is contemporary and smart providing the two rectangular towers with visually striking horizontal strap floor lines on which the generously sized balconies rest.

Glasshouse Gardens provides access to 24hr concierge services, underground parking for limited number of home owners, cycle storage and a gym. The apartment is a stroll away from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Westfield Stratford City and Stratford's main transport hub.

Between each building, a rich variety of gardens gives the place a lush, green airiness, breaks up the linear flow of the buildings and provides a beautiful landscape setting.

The name Glasshouse Gardens is inspired by the local history including  the Bowden’s Glassworks factory that once occupied the edge of the Olympic site, and the Ham House estate botanic garden housing exotic species by John Fothergill, built in 1762.

Apartments

Studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments feature open plan living quarters with extensive glazing for a maximum of natural daylight, often with dual aspect far-reaching area views. The best and widest panoramas are afforded from the apartments set on higher floors in Cassia Point. Each apartment is designed with comfort and energy efficiency in mind. Most apartments will benefit from a decked balcony or terrace with ground-floor apartments boasting a well-proportioned front garden with paving.  Materials and colours reflect city life, with wood floors and stone worktops complemented by high-quality finishes and fittings.
