Backed by the council’s vision aiming to transform Barking into a thriving destination, this east London district has been billed as the latest regeneration hotspot attracting professionals, couples, families, first time buyers and investors. The biggest scheme still being finalised is Barking Riverside which will attract up to 30,000 people in the next 10 to 15 years.
