Royal Mint Gardens has excellent public transport accessibility. Tower Gateway DLR station is a stroll away with access to trains to Canary Wharf, London City Airport, the Olympic Village, Stratford and Greenwich. A short walk from DLR is the Tower Hill Underground station with District and Circle line trains. Fenchurch Rail station is a 10-min walk away, and further up Minories in Aldgate Underground and rail station. The site of Royal Mint Gardens is less than 500 metres from the Tower of London World Heritage Site and lies partly within the Tower Conservation Area. A section of the site also falls within the Protected Vista of the Tower of London.  This is a district with an eclectic mix warehouse conversions, riverside bars and restaurants and hidden heritage building such as the old Wilton’s Music Hall a few blocks away.
