Harbour Central occupies the median Isle of Dogs location, south of the traffic dominant Marsh Wall thoroughfare and east of the calming waters of the expansive Millwall Inner Dock. Maine Tower, completed in 2019, is the most dominant building of this emerging Canary Wharf cluster, a massive 42 storey skyscraper with extensive cladding walls, firmly anchored in the heart of Harbour Central. Design by Rolfe-Judd architects, ‘ The cubic expression of the facade is an arrangement of ‘pods’ which punctuate the verticality of the building. To the north the lower buildings are given a colourful façade facing the new street and future school and park. The east and west buildings feature a more vertical emphasis with tactile coloured cladding within recessed balconies'.

Two short stops from this station is Canary Wharf district with further Underground and Crossrail services. To reach the centre of Canary Wharf on foot, it takes approx. 11minutes. This pleasant stroll runs via March Wall through to South Dock from where a pedestrian bridge to Herron Quays and Canary Wharf station all the amenities (malls, shops, restaurants and parks) of the district. A DLR train to the City airport, via Canary Wharf, takes 15 minutes.
