Greenwich Millennium Village is a residential-led, mixed-use riverside development, a joint venture between Countryside and Taylor Wimpey in association with the Mayor of London. Set on the Greenwich Peninsula, only a short distance from the historic Greenwich and across the river from Canary Wharf, the development is formed around a new Ecology Park and boasts plenty of open space and manmade lakes. At the heart of the village is a square from which pedestrianized paths and walkaways lead to transport, education, healthcare, shopping and leisure facilities.
The collection has more than 2800 new homes varied in size and type. The design was influenced by the environmentally sustainable ethos and use of modern technologies and building techniques.
Greenwich Millennium Village is also part of the Thames Gateway, a large urban regeneration project along the river, from Canary Wharf to Southend in Essex and Sittingbourne in Kent.
