CANADA WATER, SE16
Named after the former Canada Dock, which was mainly used by ships from Canada, Canada Water is a vibrant new town centre in Rotherhithe and is home to London’s largest freshwater lake and the longest draw bridge in the world.
The regeneration of Canada Water is set to expand London’s skyline with numerous new landmark buildings including towers and modern low rise developments, for residential and business purposes.
With a £2 billion investment Canada Water will boast 3500 new homes, offices, shops, restaurants, a new leisure centre and a new campus for Kings College London.
Excellent transport connectivity from Canada Water is one of the many benefits this new neighbourhood offers. Located in Zone 2 and serviced by the Jubilee Line, Canada Water is conveniently located at the midway point between Canary Wharf and the West End and is also a key interchange for the London Overground Rail network.
