Set in the grounds of the old Young’s Brewery, The Ram Quarter development delivers brand new Studios, 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and forms part of a new destination connecting Old York Road and Wandsworth Town Station with Wandsworth High Street. It is located approx. 0.4 miles from the rail station at Wandsworth Town centre, 0.7 miles from East Putney and 1 mile from Putney Bridge.

The three phases at The Ram Quarter development deliver 650 new homes. There are six buildings forming phase I of the development including Cooper’s Lofts with 14 exclusive apartments. The architecture takes inspiration from the industrial character of the site using narrow bay warehouse style buildings designed around a series of landscaped yard spaces.

The redevelopment of this site in the borough of Wandsworth was approved in 2013 as a mix of residential and commercial properties, shops, bars, restaurants and open public spaces including a new riverside walk along the banks of the River Wandle. The brewery site was ‘a gaping hole with derelict buildings in the very centre of Wandsworth Town ’ for several years. The extensive regeneration finally links this part to the heart of Wandsworth Town centre. Wandsworth Town has already seen the creation of hundreds of new homes within several new developments as well as major improvements to the town centre.

The development incorporates the iconic, listed buildings (Grade II) which formed the historic brewery producing beer in this location from 1831 to 2006. Prior to Young’s, there was a Ram Brewery in Wandsworth and a Ram pub dating from around 1550. By creating a new home for John Hatch, a former Young’s employee and the site manager, and allowing a small brewing operation within the development, the site has maintained its status as the country’s longest running brewery.  The Grade II* Listed Brewery Complex will house the new craft brewery, heritage centre, independent retailers, restaurants and exclusive loft style apartments.
