HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM
Most famous for the Hammersmith Apollo and the home of Charles Dickens character Pip in 'Great Expectations. Hammersmith is a major transport hub for west London, with two Underground stations and a busy bus station at Hammersmith Broadway and is one of the areas key commercial and employment centres.
In addition to the cinema and pubs of King Street, leisure activities also take place along Hammersmith's pedestrianised riverside, including rowing clubs and the riverside park of Furnival Gardens.
Hammersmith is also the historical home of the West London Penguin Swimming and Water Polo Club, formerly known as the Hammersmith Penguin Swimming Club.
Fulham is located just west of Chelsea and is well known for being home to two football clubs, Fulham, adjoining Bishops Park, and Chelsea which is a short walk from Fulham Broadway underground station.
Fulham has its fair share of high-end restaurants and bars, so for those looking for a home in the area, this one is worth considering.
